“Building meaningful relationships and connections with those you work with is just as important as your work product. A lot of times during your first internship or work opportunity, you focus your time and effort on accomplishing tasks and being productive. You might even feel shy at first coming in as a new hire but coming out of your shell and introducing yourself to everyone in the office is what will make a lasting impression, and even benefit you in the future.”
